About the Event

The panel represents a respected group of industry experts who will discuss timely information about: PPP and forgiveness, tax and retention credits, restructuring your debt, or acquiring a business through the SBA loan program.

The format is meant to be interactive and focus mostly on audience specific questions. There will be four quick - 10 minute presentations and the balance of time will be spent openly discussing your unique questions.

More about your panelists:

•  Ami Kassar is the Founder and CEO of MultiFunding. Ami will discuss debt reconstruction using the SBA program to take advantage of the current savings found in the stimulus bill. 

Ami runs a business loan advisory company with expertise in SBA lending.  His firm has also advised tens of thousands of entrepreneurs through the PPP, EIDL, and MSLP programs. 

• Lynn Ozer is the President of MultiFunding. Lynn will discuss business acquisitions using the SBA program to take advantage of the current savings found in the stimulus bill. 

Lynn is a strategic and highly accomplished financial executive with vast expertise in small business lending departments, training existing and aspiring lenders on SBA’s loan origination policies and procedures, and advocating on local and national level for policies that prioritize small business. 

•  John Bly  is a Managing Partner of Aprio. John will discuss the savings you can capture with the tax and retention credits found in the stimulus bill. 

John has engineered his firm’s growth both organically and through M&A, merging with 14 firms since 2004 and ultimately leading to the combination with Aprio. As Regional Managing Partner for the Carolinas, he leads Aprio’s offices in the Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Mt. Airy and Asheboro markets. He applies his experience analyzing financial information to advise buyers or sellers in M&A transactions.   

Robert Simpson is Managing Partner of Brinker and Simpson.  Along with his co-presenter Kristen McCabe of Brinker and Simpson, they will discuss the latest PPP and forgiveness information in the stimulus bill.

As managing partner, Robert's mission is guiding the growth and continued success of his company, and move it to a smooth transition. He founded Brinker Simpson in 1989, and is proud to be a part of Brinker and Simpsons journey for the last 30 years. His expertise is in tax planning and strategies for mid sized companies, and their executives and ownership team.  

Kristen is a Manager at Brinker Simpson, working in Mergers & Acquisitions, Tax Strategies, and the Accounting groups. Her emphasis includes tax compliance and planning, business consulting, and mergers and acquisitions. Kristen frequently consults and advises clients on income tax planning, financial planning, general business planning, and succession planning.
